Leslie Levenson, M.D. F.A.C.C.

Dr. Leslie Levenson received his undergraduate degree from Boston University, and his medical degree from University of Vermont in Burlington. He completed a residency in internal medicine and his cardiovascular fellowship at Penn State University / Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine.

As one of the founding partners of Heart Clinic of Louisiana, he has spent a career dedicated to developing tertiary level cardiology programs to serve the West Bank community. Dr. Levenson was integral in establishing the first adult cardiac catheterization laboratory on the West Bank and for introducing state-of-the-art interventional cardiology to this area. He is actively involved in medical research studies that are designed to improve the treatment of patients with coronary artery disease.

His specialties include interventional cardiology and peripheral percutaneous interventions, including coronary and renal angiography, angioplasty, stenting, lower extremity angioplasty, placement of permanent pacemakers and cardiac defibrillators.
